Long-Term Partnership with Rimon Farm Association

Our collaboration with Rimon Farm Association began in 2020, rooted in a shared vision: to establish agricultural–community spaces that create meaningful transformation in the lives of individuals and communities — through soil and belonging.
Over the years, we’ve planned and provided ongoing professional support for all of the association’s projects, including Rimon Farm itself and several branch initiatives, each with a distinct social–therapeutic focus. While Rimon’s dedicated team leads the hands-on implementation with the help of extensive community support and donations, our role includes design, and tailored guidance from concept through execution.
Together, we’ve helped shape a growing network of agro-therapeutic hubs — each one cultivating resilience, healing, and hope in Israel’s south.

Below , four projects we’ve developed in for Rimon Farm Association:

Rimon Farm | Restoring Youth Through the Land

Located near Kibbutz Lahav in the northern Negev, Rimon Farm is an ecological agricultural center offering a supportive and empowering framework for youth aged 14–18 who have disengaged from formal education.
Through hands-on work in the vineyard, orchard, food forest, and vegetable plots, participants gain practical life skills, self-confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Since October 2023, the farm has expanded to host a diverse range of local community groups — as part of a wider effort to strengthen collective mental health and social resilience. Residents of all ages attend agro-therapeutic workshops and community sessions that weave together soil, healing, and shared experience.
Alongside its core educational and therapeutic work, the farm also offers seasonal fruit picking, guided tours, and is developing into a site for agritourism.
Founded in December 2021, Rimon Farm continues to be a vital anchor for youth and a living example of the land’s capacity to heal, nurture, and uplift.

Lahav Farm | Healing Through Land and Connection

Lahav Farm was founded as a therapeutic–agricultural space for individuals affected by trauma related to military service. Located in the northern Negev, the farm offers short-term and long-term rehabilitation programs for veterans, security personnel, and trauma survivors.
Participants engage in structured farm work alongside group and individual therapy sessions — regaining connection to themselves, to others, and to the land.
The farm’s therapeutic model is grounded in clinical expertise and ecological practice, supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes therapists, social workers, national service youth, and agricultural staff.
Lahav Farm is named in honor of Liran Mons Almosnino — a farmer, nature lover, and special forces veteran who fell in battle during the October 7th attacks. Liran dreamed of establishing a therapeutic farm in the Negev, and his values of courage, humility, and dedication live on through the work of the farm today.

Tel Gamma Farm | Growing Roots of Community Resilience

Tel Gamma Farm, currently in early development, is a community–agricultural initiative created in response to the urgent need for civic resilience and regional healing following the events of October 7th.
Planned in close collaboration with the professional team at Rimon Farm Association, the project was designed to serve residents of the Eshkol Regional Council — offering a space for reconnection, shared creation, and collective renewal.
Situated near Tel Gamma and Kibbutz Re’im, the farm will host educational, therapeutic, and agricultural activities. It aims to be a living model of sustainable regional recovery rooted in soil, community, and co-creation.

Or HaNer Farm | Healing and Renewal in the South

Or HaNer Farm, currently under construction south of Kibbutz Or HaNer and near the Shikma stream, is a community–agricultural project envisioned as a space of safety, recovery, and connection for residents of Sha’ar HaNegev, Sderot, and surrounding areas.
The farm emerged in the wake of October 7th, with the goal of supporting regional resilience and personal healing.
It will include sustainable agricultural activities alongside educational, therapeutic, and civic initiatives — giving community members a place to process experiences, rebuild routines, and grow new roots together.

Shkef Farm | Healing, Connection, and Community in the Heart of the Forest

Nestled in the heart of Amatzia Forest, near Adorayim Dam in the Lachish Regional Council, Shkef Farm is a therapeutic-agricultural initiative launched in early 2024. It was established as a place of restoration and connection for individuals coping with post-trauma, and for southern communities displaced following the events of October 7.

The farm aims to serve as a safe and supportive space for people of all ages and backgrounds, particularly evacuees from the Western Negev. It currently hosts regular therapeutic days, rehabilitative farming activities, and immersive nature experiences for groups and organizations — including lectures, foraging workshops, and community-building retreats.

Beyond its therapeutic mission, the farm seeks to foster lasting relationships between displaced communities and local residents, revitalize the forest area, and cultivate a sense of shared purpose and renewal.

Reforest carried out the full planning of Shkef Farm and continues to accompany its development as part of our commitment to building ecological and therapeutic infrastructures for community resilience across Israel.
