1. Landscaping Costs
Landscaping costs are determined according to several elements:
Size of the area, complexity of the area, and level of development required. In the first stage, we will meet up at the plot itself for an initial review. We will then conduct an in-depth interview with the client to understand their wants and needs, and then survey the plot in an in-depth manner - including taking soil samples, measurements, and everything that’s required in order to fully understand the conditions in preparation for the landscaping stage.
Cost estimate according to plot size:
1-2 Dunam (0.2-0.4 acres) - 11,000-16,000 NIS
3-5 Dunam (0.7-1.2 acres) - 21,000 - 28,000 NIS
6-10 Dunam (1.4-2.4 acres) 31,000-38,000 NIS
11-15 Dunam (2.7-3.7 acres) 40,000-47,000 NIS
16-20 Dunam (3.9-4.9 acres) 48,000-52,000 NIS

2. Food forest establishment costs
ReForest Company manages and executes the establishment of the food forest on private land.
The chosen level of development will affect the food forest cost. Elements such as benches, compost area, swing, etc., can also be integrated into the forest.
All prices mentioned here are discounted; and ReForest Company manages and creates the food forest.
During the creation of the food forest, we will execute groundwork for the conservation of runoff water, improve the soil with compost, install an irrigation system, pave paths with tight substrates, cover the ground with a thick layer of quality mulch, and of course – plant a lot of trees, bushes and geophytes.
The food forest cost is made up of the materials above, in addition to work management, workers’ labor days, and groundwork contractors in the establishment of the food forest. The cost changes in accordance with the plant types, plant size, pathway lengths, groundwork complexity and many other variables that affect the amount of work and material costs.
Food forest cost estimate:
In addition to the basic development of the food forest, different elements can be integrated into the forest plot, to enhance the experience in the forest.
The following is an estimate of the cost of elements:
- Developing the forest plot can be stretched out across several years
- Costs can be decreased if the client has: plant donations, irrigation system donations, source for mulch at no cost, available backhoe loader, tractor and power shovel at no cost, etc.
3. Maintenance Costs:
After the food forest has been planted and established, we enter the most important stage – maintenance of the plot and visibility of the forest. ReForest Company maintains food forests on a regular basis, in accordance with the needs of the plot and maintenance level required by the client.
This table presents the monthly cost of maintenance work executed by ReForest Company.
