Agroecological Development

“ReForest has been working with Havat Rimon since 2020 and has become an important professional partner in the development of our farms. They have a unique ability to take a therapeutic, educational, and community vision and translate it into precise, practical agroecological design tailored to each site and the community it is intended to serve. We especially value their professionalism, flexibility, and ongoing support from the initial concept through to the farm’s development on the ground.”

“ReForest guided us from the initial dream and early ideas through to the creation of a vibrant, diverse, and welcoming space. Throughout the process, we felt we had true partners in thinking, planning, and decision-making, with an exceptional combination of professionalism, attentiveness, and sensitivity to the community. They were able to hold both the larger vision and the smallest details in mind, creating a space designed to serve children, families, and local residents, while continuing to grow and evolve for years to come.”

“The ReForest team guided us through the planning of a complex agricultural site, addressing the challenges of soil conditions and water quality with professionalism and thoroughness. They developed a detailed agronomic and landscape plan tailored to the site, combining our agricultural knowledge with new agroecological approaches and giving us a clear direction for creating a more diverse, productive, and resilient landscape. Even after the planning phase was completed, they continue to visit the site, review its progress, and provide guidance as needed.”

"For a long time, we were looking for a "meaningful way to use the land next to our home, something that could also become a new focus for me after retirement. The first time we walked into a food forest, we knew we had found the answer. With ReForest’s help, we created a food forest of our own. Today, it brings our whole family together, produces an abundance and wonderful variety of fruit, and most importantly, keeps me busy and engaged! ReForest guided us professionally and thoughtfully throughout the entire process — from planning and implementation to the ongoing care of the forest. Thank you!"

“Our food forest began as a dream we felt we needed to bring to life. We wanted our children to grow up in a healthy environment, with an education rooted in nature and a connection to the land and plants, but we didn’t know how to make it happen. That’s where ReForest came in, and suddenly everything became real and tangible. They guided us, explained, planned together with us, listened — and now we have a real plan in our hands, and we’re getting started…”
