Sitria Food Forest
A family food forest designated to serve as a tourist food forest in the future, sprawls across an area of 1.7 acres. Gilad, a successful retired lieutenant colonel, decided to go for a third career as a forester. His objective is to create a food forest on the family plot that will provide food for the family, rehabilitate nature, and serve as a tourist and educational center. The forest has a symbolic orchard area, a homage to the family orchard that is no longer. The plot was planted by the extended family and close friends, as part of the forest establishment celebrations. The forest was planned and created by ReForest Food Forests Company Ltd.
